Stage 1 - Intensive Program

Stage 2- Intra-School Round

Campus Champion Round

The Intra-School Round is the first level of competition, where student teams from the same school compete internally to earn the right to represent their school at the Startup Faceoff round and in the National Day.

  • A dedicated day for all of the school’s teams to pitch their startup ideas.
  • Get instant Feedback and improvement.
  • Top Teams will represent their schools in the Startup Faceoff round.
Stage 2- Inter-School Round

Startup Faceoff Round

The Inter-School Round brings together the winning teams from each school to compete on a wider. It’s the gateway to the National Competition Day.

  • Finalist teams selected from the Intra-School Round will pitch their startup idea in front of consultant and judges.
  • Get instant Feedback and improvement.
  • Top Teams will represent their schools in National Day.
Stage 3- Final Round

National Founders Finals

The National Founders Final Day is the final and most prestigious stage of the Startup Teens journey. It brings together the top finalist teams from Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the Inter-School Competition to compete head-to-head for the national title. This day is designed to celebrate youth innovation, showcase the most promising startup ideas, and connect young talents with key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.


The National Founders Final  Day is more than just a final round — it’s a celebration of Egypt’s future innovators.

  • It provides exposure, recognition, and opportunities for top students.
  • It connects youth directly with incubators, investors, and innovation networks.
  • It represents the culmination of months of learning, mentoring, and prototyping.

Who Can Participate?

Only Schools Can Apply

Participation is exclusive to schools (International Schools, Private language Schools, or STEM).

Each participating team must consist of students from the same grade, between Grade 7 and Grade 12.

Schools can register with one or more teams, with each team representing a specific grade level (e.g., one team for Grade 7/8,  one for Grade 9/10, etc.).

Each team must be fully formed from students enrolled in the same school.
Mixed-school teams are not permitted.

1. What is the main goal of this program?

The goal is to empower students from Grades 7 to 12 to explore entrepreneurship through a tech-enabled journey.

The program equips teens with both technical and business skills to build real startup projects, guided by mentorship, teamwork, and hands-on experience.

2. How long does the program last?

The program is designed in stages over several months, including:

  • 4-week educational phase (2 sessions per week).
  • Project submission phase.
  • Intra-School Competition Round (School-level pitch day).
  • Inter-School Competition Round (Regional pitch rounds).
  • National Competition Day (Finale for top teams).
3. What are the eligibility requirements?

To participate:

  • Only schools can apply.
  • Students must be in Grade 7 to Grade 12, aged between 13–18.
  • Each team must consist of 5 students from the same school and same grade.
  • Schools can register multiple teams, one per grade level.
  • All participants must be able to attend the competition activities in-person.
4. What is the competition format?

The program includes both educational and competitive components:

  • Education Phase: 8 sessions over 4 weeks (delivered onsite at school).
  • roject Submission: Teams submit a technical prototype and an entrepreneurship file.
  • Intra-School Pitch Round: Teams compete within their school.
  • Inter-School Pitch Round: Winning teams from each school compete with teams from other schools.
  • National Competition Day: Finalist teams from across Egypt compete for top prizes.
5. What will students learn during the program?
  • Problem Solving & Ideation.
  • Business Model Building (BMC).
  • Branding & Marketing.
  • Prototyping Tools.
  • Pitching & Presentation Skills.
  • Tech & Entrepreneurship Integration.
6. What types of projects will students work on?

Each team will create a tech-driven startup project solving a real-world problem, supported by a business model and a working prototype (web or mobile-based).

7. Are there any prizes?

Yes! Top teams will win:

  • Cash prizes and tangible rewards (devices, tools, kits).
  • Exclusive mentorship and incubation opportunities.
  • Scholarships and special recognitions.
8. Is the competition free to join?

No. There is a program fee that should be paid before enrolling in the round, which covers:

  • Educational sessions.
  • Mentorship and tools.
  • Access to all pitch rounds.
  • Participation kits, media coverage, and more.

9. Where will the competition take place?

All phases of the competition will take place in person across Egypt, specifically in This includes educational sessions , mentorship events, school-level pitch days, and the National Finals.

10. Can students apply individually?

No. In this edition, only schools can submit applications. Individual applications will not be accepted. Each school registers full teams of 5 students per grade.
